3. Cleaning and Maintenance
Aluminum Grease Filter:

- Remove the filter by pressing the release tabs.
- Wash the filter in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher on a gentle cycle.
- Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
Charcoal Filter:
- If the hood is installed in recirculation mode, it uses a charcoal filter to neutralize odors. Replace the filter every 6 to 12 months depending on usage. Follow the instructions in the manual for replacing it.
Glass and Control Panel:
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the glass surface and control panel. Avoid abrasive cleaners to prevent scratching.
4. Safety and Precautions
- Ensure that the ventilation hood is connected to a properly grounded power supply.
- Avoid leaving the hood on high speed for extended periods to prevent overheating.
- Do not operate the hood without the grease filter in place.
- Turn off the hood and allow it to cool before cleaning.
5. Troubleshooting
The Hood Doesn’t Turn On:
- Check that the hood is properly plugged into the power outlet.
